What does ↑jaa and nix↓ mean? by faq
↑jaa means you've enjoyed this post and want to see more like it

nix↓ means you didn't like it and want to see less

This is not voting or moderation -- don't be afraid to nix things you do not like.

In Bavarian "jaa" - pronounced /yaa/ - means absolutely best quality of something and "nix" - means nothing, so jaanix can be translated as "abolutely nothing".
